Rotate PDF

A PDF rotator changes the orientation of pages in a PDF, turning them 90, 180, or 270 degrees so they read the right way up. This free tool runs in your browser with pdf-lib and never uploads your file. You upload the document, see every page as a thumbnail, select the pages that are wrong or choose all of them, pick an angle, preview, and save. The defining feature of proper PDF rotation is that it is lossless. Each page in a PDF carries a rotation value in its structure, and the tool simply updates that value. It does not rasterize the page, re-encode images, or rebuild the text, which means there is no quality loss, the file size barely moves, and the text layer stays exactly as it was. That last point matters in practice: because the content is untouched, text selection, copy, and full-text search all keep working in the rotated file, which would not be true if the page were flattened to an image to turn it. You can rotate pages independently, which is the common case for a report that mixes upright text pages with a few landscape charts that scanned in sideways. Once you save, the rotation is baked into the file, so every compliant viewer and printer shows the corrected orientation, not just this tool. Typical uses are cleaning up a batch of scans, standing up landscape diagrams inside a portrait report, fixing mobile captures taken at an angle, and unifying orientation across a merged document. As with other operations, an encrypted PDF must be unlocked with its password before it can be modified.
