Frequently asked questions

Yes. Both opacity and rotation angle are fully configurable. A typical draft watermark uses 20-30% opacity at a 45-degree diagonal, but you can set any values that work for your use case.
The watermark is embedded into the PDF page content. While it is not trivially removable, it is not encrypted — a determined user with PDF editing tools could potentially remove it. For true document protection, combine watermarking with password protection.
Currently the tool supports text watermarks only. Image/logo watermark support is on the roadmap and will be added in a future update.
Encrypted PDFs require the password before the watermark can be applied. Enter the password when prompted, or use the Unlock PDF tool first.
